PROCHEW
ProChew is a caffeine and protein based chew, designed by first responders. A ProChew sits in your mouth between your lip and gums. Its formulation is designed to slowly dissolve over 30-40 minutes, giving you long lasting, slow-release and sustained energy. Sweetened only with natural sugar derived from plants and berries, this product is free of any artificial sweeteners, and contains fewer calories than almost all energy drinks or chew products on the market. Our product also includes Xylitol, a sweetener used in the Dental industry that promotes oral health. ProChew is 20% whey protein Isolate, making the product excellent for improving muscle mass, tissue repair, and digestive issues. While formulating ProChew, we wanted to ensure there was a significant boost of energy for the user, but not SO much that the product acted like a pre-workout. This said, ProChew slowly delivers 125mg of caffeine, completely hands-free unlike most other caffeine products.
Vision
The vision of ProChew, is really where the motivation and passion for the product resonates. We designed this product with the vision that first responders can use it while on the go, serving their communities and countries. Military, police, firefighters, and emergency services all work incredibly long shifts, and are expected to stay alert and focused enough to perform their seemingly impossible tasks. About the Team
ProChew was founded by Joshua Barrett, and his father Mike Barrett.
Joshua is an Active Army vet, who currently serves as a Sergeant in the National Guard. He has done two tours, one to South Sudan, and one to Somalia. He spends most of his free time playing golf and soccer.
Michael Barrett is a successful technology entrepreneur and a founder of Unosquare, a global software company with over 1,000 employees in 7 countries. He’s also a former volunteer with the Los Angeles County Sheriff Search and Rescue. He was raised in a multi generational law enforcement family and actively supports military and fire related charities.
